Studio Services

 Great question! Here's how our studio service process works:

1. Complete the Booking Request Form

Immediately after your purchase, you'll be prompted to complete a Booking Request Form.

2. File Preparation & Upload

Once you've submitted the form, you'll receive a "Booking Request Received" email containing detailed instructions on preparing your audio files and securely uploading them to us.

3.Project Review & Confirmation

After we receive and approve your files (typically the same day), you'll receive an email confirming your official project start date and delivery date.

4. Receive Your Master & Request Revisions

You'll receive your completed master by the confirmed delivery date. If revisions are necessary, simply reply to our email—we'll make every reasonable effort to ensure you're satisfied.

Important Notes:

• Projects cannot begin, and delivery dates aren't guaranteed, until all required assets are approved. If files are incomplete or require adjustments, we'll reach out immediately.

Mixing Service

To ensure we deliver the best possible mix, please prepare and provide the following:

1. Audio Tracks: Export all individual tracks as WAV or AIFF files, ensuring they are at the original project sample rate and bit depth (e.g., 48kHz/24-bit).
2. Track Alignment: Ensure all files are properly aligned from the start of the timeline to avoid timing issues.
3. Effects: Remove any effects or processing from the master channel. Leave individual track effects if they are essential to your sound, but include a note if adjustments are needed.
4. Labeling: Name all tracks clearly (e.g., "Kick," "Lead Vocal," "Synth Pad," "Open Hat," "Closed Hat," "Snare," "Bass," etc).
5. Tempo/BPM: Provide the track’s tempo and key (where possible).
6. Reference Track: Include a stereo version of your track so we can confirm what we received matches the reference you provide.

Mastering Service

For optimal results, prepare and provide the following:

1. Final Mixdown: Export the final stereo mixdown as a WAV or AIFF file, at the highest resolution available (e.g., 44.1 kHz/24-bit or higher). Please ensure sufficient headroom (around -6 dB peak level).
2. Master Channel: Ensure limiting, compression, or EQ are turned off on the master channel. However, if there are other effects processors used that are critical to the color of sound of your music, you may include them, but please let us know in your track notes.
3. Reference Tracks: Optionally, include 1-2 reference tracks that represent your desired sound.
4. Track Notes: Provide any specific requests or concerns about the mix (e.g., "make the bass punchier," "emphasize clarity in the vocals"). Be sure to also include notes on master track effects processing, if any.

Stem Mastering Service

For stem mastering, provide the following assets:

1. Grouped Stems: Export key groups of your track as WAV or AIFF files (e.g., "Drums," "Vocals," "Synths"), maintaining the original sample rate and bit depth of your session.
2. Alignment: Ensure all stems are time-aligned and start from the beginning of the timeline.
3. Master Channel: No processing should be applied to the master channel.
4. Reference Tracks: Include any reference tracks that reflect your desired sound.
5. Detailed Notes: Include a description of the track’s intent and any specific areas you’d like us to focus on (e.g., "tighten the low-end," "brighten the synths"...).

Absolutely, and it is encouraged. Reference tracks help communicate your desired sound and guide the process.

Revisions are made until you are satisfied, at no additional charge, within reason.
