about us

not just a studio—a home for the ones who live and breathe sound.

why we're here

SoundHaus is here for the artists chasing something deeper—their sound, their story, their next step. We believe every producer deserves a space to grow, a place to shape the craft. Because sound isn’t just music. It’s movement. It’s transformation.

how we got here

SoundHaus Studio was born from decades spent on dancefloors, behind the decks, and inside the pulse of club culture. Founders Jon Ojeda and Adrien Van Matre carried the spirit of the underground from the raw energy of early raves to global stages, building careers as artist, label owner, manager, and leader.

Together they’ve navigated the industry’s shifting tides—now channeling their journey into a creative home for the next generation of producers, artists, and engineers.

SoundHaus exists as a bridge: between roots and evolution, between sound and story, between craft and becoming.

jon ojeda—founder, chief creative officer, head of studio

Jon Ojeda’s journey started on the dancefloor and carried him around the world—from raves to record labels, from DJ booths to distribution boardrooms. A veteran DJ, charting producer (alias_j), co-founder of Omnis Recordings, and former Director of Operations at INgrooves, Jon has lived every layer of the music industry.  His work has appeared on labels like Elevate Records and Chrom Recordings, and his bylines in MixMag, DJ Mag, BPM, and TypeOne Media.

At SoundHaus, he channels three decades of artistry and leadership into guiding the next generation of creators, blending technical mastery with an artist’s soul. He brings a vision shaped by the culture that raised him, and a commitment to helping artists find their place within it.

adrien van matre—founder, chief operations officer

Adrien Van Matre’s roots in club culture run deep, beginning with her first rave in 1994 and evolving into a career behind the scenes of some of electronic music’s most respected spaces. As founder of SoundAM Management, Adrien managed bookings, touring, and operations for DJs and artists across the U.S. and Europe. She led Artist Relations at Spundae and directed production for Godskitchen’s groundbreaking Tiësto In Concert tour, a pioneering show that redefined what a DJ performance could be.

At SoundHaus, she brings decades of operational excellence, artist advocacy, and cultural intuition, guided by a quiet commitment to care, empathy, and community, creating a seamless experience for students, clients, and collaborators.

christian boshell—course director & creative partnerships

Christian Boshell’s journey through electronic music has spanned three decades and countless dancefloors. From his early days behind the decks in Dublin’s underground to founding labels and writing for the culture’s leading voices, Christian has lived every layer of the scene.

As a DJ, producer, journalist, and mentor, he brings a deep, timeless perspective to SoundHaus Studio, helping artists navigate the craft, the culture, and the industry with equal care. He works alongside Jon and Adrien to build curriculum, guide creative projects, and shape the studio’s connection to the wider music community.
